IDG Water Engineering Project, Distribution System Improvement Program

IDG has served as CPWS’s long-term water supply planning partner since 2016, helping the utility chart a course for a reliable and resilient water supply for Maury County. Starting with a strategic plan in 2016 followed by two Master Planning projects and culminating in the formation of the Long Term Water Supply Program (LTWSP), a $525M capital initiative now under construction along with the subsequent $85M Distribution System Improvements Program (DSIP). IDG continues to provide ongoing planning support including hydraulic modeling, capital project conceptual design, coordination with state and federal agencies and funding assistance.
