Andrew Bohon
Andrew has a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Tennessee and spent the first 10 years of his career as a reliability engineer with Dow Chemical at a large chemical complex in Texas. His depth of knowledge of mechanical equipment and specifically rotating equipment is a great asset to the IDG team and our clients. Since joining IDG in 2021, Andrew has worked on a variety of water and wastewater design projects using his in depth equipment experience to benefit our clients in a variety of ways.

Brian has over 16 years of experience in planning, design, and construction of linear infrastructure and facilities for wastewater, water, natural gas, and stormwater utilities. His work has included a wide range of projects from design of new sanitary sewer, underground Cast-In Place sewer equalization tank and pump station, and extensive sewer rehabilitation experience. Brian currently serves as the Construction Manager for the Clean Water Nashville Overflow Abatement Program.

After college, Grant spent two years in maintenance management of complex systems for a larger automobile manufacturer. Grant began working at IDG in 2024 where he has since been involved in the design and construction of water infrastructure and is currently serving as a full time onsite field representative on a large water supply program. When not at work, Grant enjoys spending time with his wife and kids

John uses his extensive experience to efficiently produce plans for a wide variety of design projects. John began working at IDG in early 2024 and currently serves as one of IDG’s principal designers for water and wastewater infrastructure. He likes to spend his free time working on computers and playing way too much shuffleboard for someone many years from retirement.

Tim graduated in 2024 with a degree in mechanical engineering from Union University. In his first few years out of school, Tim has gained a broad range of experience in the water and wastewater field, primarily working on planning and design of capital projects. Tim’s versatility and initiative have already made him an extremely valuable member of the team.

Emma is a recent Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama. She developed a strong interest in water and wastewater treatment through her academic studies and hands-on project experience. She is excited to apply her technical skills to help utility clients develop reliable and sustainable water infrastructure while continuing to grow as an engineer. Outside of work, she enjoys waterskiing, traveling, and spending time with friends.
Taylor is a Middle Tennessee native and recent Mechanical Engineering graduate from UTK. After completing a senior project focused on water-cooling tower nozzle redesign and a two-year internship at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, she joined IDG to begin her career in the water industry. Taylor spends most of her free time at the gym, coffee shops, and thrift stores.

Sky Borda
Sky is a middle Tennessee native and recent engineering graduate from Auburn University. For Sky’s first assignments, he is serving as a special inspector on a 12 mgd expansion of the Columbia Water Treatment Plant and 32 mgd intake and raw water pump station.
Levi Branan
Levi is currently finishing up his Mechanical Engineering degree from Lipscomb University where he has worked on two water infrastructure projects with ADICAY, one of IDG’s primary NGO partners in Guatemala. His experience includes hands-on project work in water and network systems, and research focused on improving access to education and opportunities for people with disabilities. Outside of work, he competes in ultimate frisbee and has a small photography business.
Jackson Artrip
Jackson is an intern, currently attending the University of Tennessee Knoxville and pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. Working with IDG over the summer, he has helped design and inspect infrastructure on WTP improvement projects and pump stations across Middle Tennessee. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, running, and spending time with his family and girlfriend.
