Water & Wastewater System Planning

Master planning and project planning helping the Water Authority of Dickson County (WADC) chart a strategic path for capital investment, system growth, and regulatory compliance across its water and wastewater infrastructure.

IDG has provided comprehensive capital and system planning services to WADC since 2018 including a step wise approach to wastewater system master planning, individual project planning efforts and a 2025 Distribution System Master Plan. The DSMP is a planning framework guiding water system investments from 2026 forward. For the wastewater system, IDG’s master planning prioritized improvements across the collection system, pump stations, and the treatment plant. IDG’s planning work directly shapes WADC’s capital improvement program and informs regulatory compliance strategies with TDEC.
