2.5 MG Warren Road Tank

A new elevated storage tank to serve as the backbone of MUD's expanding distribution system.

IDG was involved in the original planning, detailed design, bidding and construction administration for the Warren Road Water Tank Replacement project for Milcrofton Utility District, replacing an existing 0.5 mgd ground storage tank with a new 2.5 mgd composite elevated storage tank. The project included a new finished water storage tank, site improvements, and associated piping to restore system storage capacity and pressure zone performance.  The new tank allowed MUD to take several booster pump stations offline, thus reducing operations and maintenance cost and providing greater reliability and level of service to their customers.
